Hey Listen…it comes down to this: Romney lied better than President Obama told the truth at last week’s debate (Oct. 3rd). But that doesn’t make Romney a better choice, and that doesn’t make President Obama a less-than great President. The FACTS are still the same.

President Obama has saved this country from a serious depression…a Presidency born out of reckless, incredibly unfair and unscrupulous policies and decisions made by the previous President. Why the GOP thinks they bear no responsibility for those decisions and consequences thereof is ludicrous.  Those previous GOP policies are…. ABSOLUTELY relevant. Don’t let Romney lie and deceive and make things up as he goes like he did at that debate last week. Don’t let Romney take those lies and think he can walk into a Presidency born unto wiser, fairer, and sensible policies by this current administration and somehow take credit for what will be a continuing path to a better economy–just to take it down again, and the middle class with it.

Governor Romney has done a total 180 turn on every policy he’s been touting throughout this campaign at last week’s debate. He really wasn’t kidding when he said the general election would be an etch-a-sketch moment. When he was the Governor of Massachusetts, he prided himself on being a moderate republican. When he was campaigning during the primaries, he conveniently took the view of far-right conservatives in order to win their vote.  He chose Paul Ryan as his running mate for the same reason, but has made it clear to him and to the American people that Mr. Ryan’s views were not his own…quite interesting, indeed.  Now that he’s made it to the nomination, he has conveniently re-invented himself once again as a moderate, with a compassionate heart.  What? Compassionate Conservative? Thoughtful Moderate?

Who is The REAL Mitt Romney? I think anyone with a memory and is honest about it knows the answer. Mitt may have an affection for etch-a-sketches,  but don’t think for a minute we’re all running to the toy store to buy one.

I’m sticking with President Obama for all the right reasons. He has fought hard to keep this country from falling off that cliff.  He has fought hard to get this country moving once again in the right direction . He keeps the majority of Americans in mind when making decisions, not just the 1%. He OWNS National Security.

Anyone can have an off night…but I don’t judge someone on one night’s theatrical performance.  I care about long-term stability and thoughtful visions for our future.  I care about TRUTH.  I follow the news.  I follow the issues.  I follow my instincts and I follow my conscience.  I CARE ABOUT FACTS.  We all should.  Obama…ALL THE WAY.
